Toyota Parts & Service, a division of Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., wanted a new web site to track the results of a year-long, nationwide radio advertising campaign. In particular, Toyota Parts & Service wanted their dealers to be able to log into the site, and view the radio scripts and media plans for their local markets. In addition, Toyota Parts & Service wanted to solicit feedback from the dealers on the radio campaign. Given the high frequency of updates to the radio schedules and scripts, the easy maintenance of this web site was a high priority.
1969 Communications, a web development company with clients such as Isuzu Trucks and Aaron Brothers, chose Vertical Site as the content management solution for Toyota Parts & Service’s new web site.
"We had successfully deployed Vertical Site for two of our other clients, North American Scientific and Channell Commercial Corporation. We felt that Vertical Site would be a good solution for Toyota Parts & Service Radio, due to its robust functionality and ease-of-use. It was important for us to enable their staff to maintain the site in-house with no programming knowledge", said Stacy Burgum, President, 1969 Communications.
Installation and implementation of Vertical Site was done by 1969 Communications. 1969 Communications developed custom in-house tools to expedite working with style sheets.
"We are delighted to deliver yet another powerful content management solution. This is a good example of Vertical Site taking branding to another dimension, letting the marketing department easily work directly with the corporate Internet site. Which is one of Vertical Site's strengths: letting each department, in a non-technical and intuitive manner directly handle their channel", Morten Eriksen, CEO, Enonic.
