Enonic XP8 and Content Studio 6 represent a major step forward for the platform.
This release introduces a redesigned Content Studio, a new Page Builder, pluggable preview, Universal API, and a modernized technology stack. It also delivers significant improvements to performance, extensibility, accessibility, and day-to-day usability for both developers and content teams.
Built on a new foundation and shaped by feedback from customers and partners, XP8 and Content Studio 6 make Enonic more flexible, capable, and easier to work with than ever before.
A New Content Studio
Content Studio 6 has been rebuilt with React and TypeScript, providing a faster, more scalable, and more extensible foundation for future development.
The user interface has also been redesigned with a cleaner layout, improved accessibility, and support for Dark Mode.
In addition, several workflows have been improved, including permissions management, content import, and scheduled publishing.

A More Flexible Page Builder
The Page Builder has been redesigned to work with any frontend framework.
Editors benefit from an improved visual editing experience with drag-and-drop functionality, while developers gain more flexibility when building frontend applications.

Pluggable Preview
Content Studio 6 introduces a new pluggable preview system.
This allows developers to build custom preview solutions for different types of content and digital experiences, while keeping the architecture secure and maintainable.
Universal API
Enonic XP8 introduces the Universal API, making it easier to build, secure, and expose custom APIs.
Whether integrating with existing systems or delivering content across multiple channels, the Universal API provides a consistent way to work with data and services.
Improvements for Developers
XP8 includes several platform-level improvements:

- YAML-based app and schema definitions
