In any case, great advisory rests on thorough knowledge and experience with both the specific digital platform and with business processes and deployments in general. This is where a fruitful collaboration between you and the vendor will have generated results already.

Advisory can take many forms, from informal conversation between key stakeholders to more streamlined workshops on specific topics that need to be addressed in a particular project.

Whatever form the advisory takes, make sure that communication between you and the vendor is transparent on every key issue, from integrations and operations to security and content modelling. This way you can deliver the best advice and digital experiences for your customer.
